Subject: Maybe one of Newman's first national roles?
this was from 1952-Not long before this Newman was doing live commercials on Cleveland TV for National City Bank..

Subject: Good episode
I'm surprised I haven't heard of "Tales of Tomorrow" until discovering it here on the Archive. This episode is well-acted, and the camera's love for Newman is immediately evident even though he's not the lead.

...and Paul Newman too! Very fine.

Subject: Fun Early Sci-Fi
This reminded me somewhat of Howard Hawks' original "The Thing from Another World" in it's frozen setting. Also, I found it amusing that you could just jump in a V-2 rocket and take off as though you were borrowing Dad's Buick!

It seems as the series progress, the stories and acting got better. This one seems almost as good as a latter SCI-FI program in the 1960's, The Outer Limits.

Subject: A Delightful Sci-Fi Romp
Well written and performed with gusto, I found this to be a very watchable ep. One wonders - did a certain writer named Kurt get his idea for "Ice-Nine" from this show?

In addition to a very young Paul Newman, you'll also be treated to a not so young Raymond Bailey, sans toupee, known to millions as "Milburn Drysdale" of the Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills on the Beverly Hillbillies.
